If you're a fan of art, then you've come to the right place. We are thrilled to introduce you to an incredibly talented glass mosaic artist, Carol Davis.

Carol Davis is an award-winning artist creating distinctively unique art. She has taken a markedly new approach to the ancient art of mosaic making, celebrating earth, nature, and color.

Creativity, resourcefulness and the power of the self all seem to define Carol Davis, local artist, environmentalist, activist and mentor. And she shows no signs of slowing down.

“I usually start with photography, especially trees. I love trees. I start there and just create a design, sort of based on the tree, and maybe a few other elements, and then just add the color.”

“I do mosaics differently. I grew up with art. My father was a painter and always had a painting he was working on in our den. I often got to go with him to watch him build a painting from start to finish.”
